Grade 2 Blog

 Hello families,

My name is Temi Oshokoya (Ms. T), and I’m so excited to be joining NLS Grade 2 community! I’m a relationship-driven teacher who loves creating a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels welcome, valued, and ready to learn. I enjoy designing hands-on, meaningful learning experiences that connect literacy, math, and well-being across subjects. I believe learning should be engaging, joyful, and rooted in curiosity. Our class blog will also be updated regularly with student-written recaps of our day, so you can hear directly from your children about what they’re learning and enjoying. I can’t wait to get to know your children and learn together this year.

January Key Dates:
January 22 – OPA Fun Lunch
January 30 – No school for students (PD Day)

1.6.26 Update

We worked on our morning maker bins. We worked on our literacy stations. We practiced representing numbers on a number line . We learned about collecting data and tally graphs. And we worked on our New Year resolutions and set some goals on things we want to achieve personally, in our families, and in our classroom community.
